Welcome to our new website! This has been a work in progress since the spring - before COVID closed our clinic doors and slowed everything down. We're so excited to finally launch the new site.
If you're new here, here's a quick back story of Wellington Kids. Kim first started seeing private speech therapy clients at their own homes, daycares, and schools in 2013, while also working in the community. She expanded her practice to a clinic in her basement and continued to work with clients there. Once kids of her own entered the picture, it became more difficult to manage seeing clients at her own house, and she moved to our current space on Prescott Street in Old Town Kemptville. Kelly joined the practice in 2019 to cover Kim's maternity leave, and has been such an asset to the company ever since. We are now so glad to be expanding again, with Courtney now offering occupational therapy services!
Kelly is continuing to offer virtual services for new and continuing speech therapy clients. Unfortunately, it is difficult to provide speech therapy services in a safe way without masks, since being able to observe the client's mouth is often necessary (depending on what we are working on). Courtney will be seeing clients at the clinic, operating within safety guidelines which can be found on our website.
