Cancellation Policy

At Wellington Kids Inc., we strive to provide high-quality care that accommodates our clients'
needs and schedules. However, missed appointments and last-minute cancellations affect our
ability to offer the best possible service.


If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in
advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the
original appointment fee. No-shows or missed appointments will be billed at 100% of the
scheduled appointment fee.​

 

For the health and safety of our staff and our clients, we also ask that you notify your therapist if your child or accompanying family member is ill. This includes but is not limited to a fever of 37.8oC or higher, coughing, influenza, strep throat, vomiting, head lice, among others that have been exhibited in the last 24 hours. Please consult with your therapist as soon as possible if you are unsure and they will provide you with further directions and the option to reschedule your session.​

 

If you or your child has been advised to isolate or be tested for COVID-19, please let your therapist know as soon as possible to discuss your options.

Please note that receipts for missed or late cancelled appointments may not be covered by your insurance provider.
